SOLO TRAVEL CAN BE SCARY, DONT GET ME WRONG! BUT, IT WILL HONESTLY BE ONE OF THE BEST DECISIONS OF YOUR LIFE I UNDERSTAND HOW SCARY IT CAN BE, TRUST ME, IVE BEEN THERE. AS SOON AS YOU GET THERE ALL YOUR TROUBLES WILL FADE AWAY AND YOU WILL JUST START LIVING, YOU WILL FEEL FREE. I REALLY DO FEEL AS THOUGH EVERYONE SHOULD EXPERIENCE THIS ONCE, I THINK ITS SO IMPORTANT TO LEARN HOW TO BE ALONE WITH YOURSELF AND YOUR THOUGHTS AND STILL BE HAPPY, BE ALONE, BUT STILL HAVE FUN. YOUR OWN COMPANY SHOULD BE ENOUGH FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU ARE AMAZING. I KNOW TOO MANY PEOPLE WHO RELY ON OTHERS TO MAKE THEM HAPPY AND CANT STAND TO BE ALONE CONSTANTLY IN RELATIONSHIPS...

Pros

You have to push yourself out of your comfort zone, but this makes you learn so much about yourself!
Experience real independence and freedom
You meet more people than you would if you was with someone you knew
Time to reflect on yourself and actions
Likely to increase your self confidence
You can do what you want, whenever you want
You don't have to wait on anyone to book that flight

Cons

You may get lonely sometimes
It can be a little more scary than if you was with friends
If not staying in hostels it can be a little more expensive
Miss out on constant human connection - You don't always have someone to share the moment with
Depending on what countries you are visiting it could be more dangerous or you might just feel more comfortable with someone else around.
